NFL Football 2009

The real shame is having to watch Rex's mega-man-boobs jiggle around all game long. He's a tub!

I've always found the Ryan brothers a more loveable version of Buddy Ryan, so it's definitely entertaining having Rex coaching in our division, compared to his predecessor, that tubby rat.

With that said, Sundays game will definitely be interesting, and I'll hold off of predictions as I have no idea which team has the better chance of winning this one if both execute well.

Random trivia: Only two states do not have players currently in the NFL. Any guesses before you look at the answer?
Vermont, New Hampshire

Those two were in my short list of pansy states that would qualify :guffaw:

Are there any D-I teams in either of those states?

Jay Cutler better pass to the the guys in navy and orange today. It's the same colors as Denver. He shouldn't be that confused.

Who woulda thought Tennessee vs Houston wouls be such abarnburner? 24-24 ... in the first half?!? :wtf:

Damn, how about those Saints? Racking up 41 points on the Philadelphia D. :wtf:

If the Saints have anything resembling a decent defense, this could really be there year. With Brees firing like that and Colston healthy, and good ground attack.... look out! If Bush were more productive, then they'd be frightening.

And can someone tell me if something is wrong with the Patriots, or is this just early season kinks that need to be worked out. They sohuld have lost last week to the Bills,of all teams. And now they appear to have lost to the Jets?

Wow, as frustrated and disappointed as I am, I have to say congrats to the Jets today. That pass rush kept the Patriots out of sync the whole game.

And the Pats scored no touchdowns.... a team with Tom Brady and Randy Moss, and no TD's ?

J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!

No offense, but when your team wins a game, and they have to point to a game from almost a decade ago to highlight the last time that happened, not sure it constitutes "ruling" anything ;)

Sanchez looked good, though, and not sure what Brady's deal was, just didn't seem to have it this time....

The Lions lost again today. But they actually had a lead at one point during the game. Stafford is still making mistakes, but Detroit has played two really good teams to start the year in New Orleans and Minnesota.

With the Redskins up next week, Detroit may be looking at it's first winnable game in a long time. But as it stands right now, the losing streak is up to 19 games.
