NFL 2025: A new era dawns?

I'll be honest with y'all (I'm not from the south but what the hell!)..

in recent years I have found myself becoming more disinterested in professional sports, particularly football...10 - 15 years ago I was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and hung on everything Eagles, every bit of news, watched every game religiously, planned my Sundays around the game, you get the idea....

but then a paradigm shift happened and I think I know what it was: the hyper-commercialism of sports...Now I know that this has always been present, but I think what did it for me was when they started squeezing in ads in between plays, for me this was a threshold that was too much. Then I realized that just about every second of every game: they are trying to sell you something...and it just got too much....now I am not that vested in the games and more often than not will just wait to watch the highlights on youtube, which pop up about 2 hrs after game completion....

just wondering if anyone has experienced this same phenomenon?
The NFL has been souring for me for some time but gambling and the stupid amounts of money in the league makes it less appealing.

Someone said there has been 17 interceptions returned for touchdowns in the Super Bowl and every team that has done it has won.

So I surmise it has never been done by both teams in a game.

I found a list that is a few years outdated but it doesn't show INT TDs for both teams in the same game. It does show Tampa doing it three times to the Raiders though, two by Dwight Smith. Who remembers that one?

I said the same thing about the Jurassic Park ad last week. Worst thing about both commercials.
Yeah, I really did not like that commercial. I think it gutted the whole concept of Jurassic Park as a horror movie and the premise (horror is based on very dumb decisions).

I heard on sports radio this morning that each player on the Seahawks, as part of the winning Super Bowl team, received a $175,000 bonus that is not a part of their regular salary.
However, due to California's tax laws, each player ended up owing the state $225,000 to $250,000.

Honestly, he could pass as white with a tan. Just disappointing to see minorities so severely underrepresented.

Doesn't explain a retread like McCarthy, but the current trend is the hot young OC, and they tend to be white. Although after Mike Macdonald's season, maybe next year they'll start chasing more DCs like Ejiro Evero.

I’d like to see where that report comes from? Because that doesn’t make sense even where tax law is concerned.
