NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

Texans get offensive and defensive rookies of the year. And missed coach of the year by one vote. Glad to see Andre Johnson make it to the HOF, he deserved it. I'm sure JJ Watt will be the second Texan to make it when he becomes eligible. Glad to see the Texans haul themselves from the garbage dump of the NFL to contender status.
 
Since the NFL got $110 million from NBC to stream a regular season game exclusively on Peacock, they will now get even more from Amazon to stream a playoff game next year exclusive on Prime.
 
University of Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer bolts for Alabama, takes some of his coaches with him including offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. Well Grubb has decided he'd rather stay in Seattle and is now the offensive coordinator of the Seahawks.
 
Super Bowl LVIII is on. I have Peacock. Yet, I'm listening to a Bears-Packers game from 1988 with Madden and Summerall on YouTube.
 
I was on the fence who to root for, until only a few minutes ago.

I really like Mahomes and Andy Ried, but fuck that privileged thumbhead thug Kelce for bumping into Ried in one of his many temper tantrums, nearly knocking him over. Fuck TayTay too. Sick of them both and all the bullshit that surrounds them.

Niners all the way to the end!
 
Could be bad look, though, if KC loses and Kelce wants to take a knee to do something other than tie his shoe or protest the National Anthem tonight.

I’m seeing a different game. SF is clearly the superior team tonight. KC has been playing like shit. I’m not entirely sure they really deserve to be here, if I’m honest.

What is more Jets-like than trading away a player midseason for a low draft pick and the player goes on to score the Super Bowl-winning TD?
 
It's always a good night for me when the 49ers lose. And it was an exciting game, with some great plays on both sides. A worthy end to the '23 season.
 
I'm sad that the 49ers lost, and now I'm questioning if Kyle Shanahan is the right guy for the job, but it was an enjoyable Super Bowl. 49ers had so many missed opportunities though, and they couldn't stop the best QB in the game.

He has taken the 49ers to two Super Bowls and a conference championship game in the last four years. Not sure you’re going to find another coach with that kind of resume. One getting them to the Super Bowl with a 7th round draft pick at QB.
