Oh well, so much for momentum.

Edit: End of the 3rd, and it's tied up again.

Me and my big mouth. The Bucs made that Detroit scoring drive look easy.

This is a good game so far. I'm 100% behind the Lions going all the way (including winning it all) but the Bucs are looking quite good tbh.

Good game.

Despite the last INT, Baker Mayfield did everything he could with no running game. He’s definitely a good fit.

Congrats to the Lions. Now beat the 49ers, damnit!

Lions had better uniforms, and they won. And I'm not watching the game tonight between the KC Swifts and Bills, but GO Bills!

Congrats to KC!

I was 2 for 4 on my picks for the weekend. The Ravens and Chiefs won, but the Bucs and Packers lost.

I'm picking KC and Detroit to win next weekend.

Eagles make a scapegoat out of Sean Desai, the new DC who then got demoted in favor of Matt Patricia (who made things worse), and fire him.

Shane Waldron, who didn't really do anything special when the Seahawks made him their OC, is set to become the Bears new OC. I guess he's still riding his Rams success.

Meanwhile, Lions sign TE Zach Ertz and Ron Rivera is interviewing for Eagles DC.

Ertz and LaPorta makes for a pretty lethal TE combo.

We really have no idea of what kind of shape Ertz is in, plus he will only be on the field for a limited number of plays, guy can only assimilate the playbook so fast.

This week, I think he just represents possible future depth if Detroit makes the Super Bowl.*

*Never in a million years did I think I’d be typing the above!

For real.

Another pair of fun facts I learned today: the last time Detroit advanced to a championship game, their penultimate opponent was.... the 49ers, in San Francisco. Also the last time the Lions won a road playoff game.

What are the odds?

Would be a neat way for them to break the streak.
