NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

And the latest QB to go down is Geno Smith. And there's a chance the QB on the other sidelines, Matthew Stafford, is hurt too.

The Jets keep saying that Zach Wilson is getting better, but I’m not seeing it. Though that whole offense is a mess.

I'd trust the cardboard cutout sooner. Cardboard doesn't throw interceptions.

Not sure it matters who you put back there? The Jets can’t block, run or pass, and their receivers aren’t getting separation from defenders.

If Rodgers comes back this year, they’re likely to break him permanently.

I know Rodgers intends to come back, and his massive ego won't let him promote any other narrative. No matter that it undermines whoever they put under centre in the interim. They know they'll get chucked in the dustbin at a moment's notice. And every defensive pass rusher will kill themselves trying to wrap up Rodgers' legs and send him back to the sideline.

On a separate note, Joshua Dobbs is, 20 days in, a far superior quarterback for Minnesota compared to Quirk Flubbins (a.k.a. Kirk Cousins). If they could get their receivers and running backs to not fumble the ball away, that'd be great.

Montreal Alouettes defeat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Grey Cup 110, 28-24.

Good win for the Niners yesterday but hate that Hufanga has a torn ACL. Hopefully Brown can hold his own. Looks like the 49ers might be facing Seattle at the right time. Looking forward to that game on Thursday night.

Every game that jackass misses and Jimmy Haslam has to eat his millions is good by me.

I only popped into this thread because the NFL has finally discovered Josh Dobbs which means that I have finally watched an NFL game (vikings til I ain't) but this quote is gold. I'm so glad Jimmy has moved from managing UT football as practice to ruining the Browns full time. Best thing that ever happened was the Schianomo and ridding UT of Jimmy's iron grip. He's still a player but not like before.

NFL forever at this point for me haha.

But yeah, I'm really glad Dobbs is getting a real shot after all this time. And of course in that first posession last night he fumbled the ball - because of an illegal hit that wasn't flagged from a guy who had just come back from a suspension for the same thing.
