NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

Dallas has an opportunity here to create some distance. Get points here on a drive and they open the second half with the ball.

Any given Sunday, and all that. Though I think the Bengals defense might be in Mahomes head after his second half collapse in last year’s AFC Championship game.

The Bengals defense is just incredibly disciplined, probably the most disciplined defense I’ve ever watched. Mahomes makes a lot of his big plays when things break down and the defense loses focus. Which doesn’t happen a lot with the Bengals.

No comment. ;)

Brock Purdy looking much more like a rookie today.

You sure? I didn't see him make any major mistakes against a strong Cowboys defense. Doesn't seem like a Rookie with nerves, quite the opposite. He kept it cool and played the game, the 9ers won. End of story.

It's the playoffs, winning by 20-30 points is getting really hard.

He plays like this against the Eagles anything is possible.

The Cowboys' last play was baffling.

Shanahan even called a timeout so the Cowboys could reconsider the stupid thing they were about to do, but they doubled down anyway, lol.

I have absolutely no idea what the fuck happened on that play. And, I mean, that was an actual play that was drawn up and practiced. And they called ... that after some absolutely terrible clock management.

I'm not sure why they expected Zeke to be able to get up from the down position and then go into pass protection, instead of getting knocked on his ass immediately. And then needing a moonshot, Dak throws an 8-yard inside slant to a guy who got speared like victims of Bill Goldberg in his WCW prime.

And Jerry says McCarthy's job is safe after that.

I mean, obviously losing Pollard hurt (and he needs surgery to fix a broken fibula, now; shame that it happened as he's going into free agency), but the 49ers had one of the best run defenses in the league, they were never going to be able to crack that.

I struggle to believe that Jerry Jones won’t feel out Sean Payton’s interest in coming to Dallas.

Out of all the teams that could use Payton, Dallas is one of the few that can spare the draft picks on getting him instead of warm bodies.

The 49ers' Defense is ridiculous.

I hope Philly can break through it. I cannot abide SF in the Super Bowl.

Bengals looked great.

Both championship games should be good.

I have to assume they were setting up some kind of hook-and-ladder play, and for such Elliott may have been intended to receive the lateral. I have the feeling the Cowboys plan assumed that the pass rush would completely bypass Elliott to get to Prescott as quickly as possible, but instead he got drilled into the turf and blew up the whole thing.

Bengals showed up to play. Bills looked like they were just there. I want to wave the Bills flag but they were missing something and the Bengals just dismantled them.
