NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

So Matthew Stafford goes into concussion protocol…on Wednesday!

What the fuck?

This season is becoming a total shit show.

Some people think this is a soft benching, either to protect him by giving him a breather or to see if they should move on to someone else.

From the espn.com article:
"Racine alleged that while the league and the team publicly promised an independent investigation, "Snyder waged an interference campaign to cover up years of harassment" and that "the NFL let him do it, betraying fans' trust by enabling Snyder to have a say at the end of the investigation into him and the Commanders."

You go DC! Independent investigations are almost always complete bullshit, but this is other level.

I remember when Snyder briefly tried to do his own "internal" investigation by hiring some firm that specialized in such things. That was a little too much fox-in-the-henhouse for everyone concerned and that's when Goodell ostensibly took over to at least give the impression of impartiality. I guess he was in on the collusion as well, spineless turd that he is. I'm glad the problem is finally being given the scrutiny it deserves.

Is everyone ready for the glory and splendor of Panthers vs Falcons on Amazon?

Does it get any better for NFL fans?

I still wonder about the jurisdiction here, the team plays in Maryland and its headquarters are in Virginia. It may primarily be DC folks going to these games, but they are conducting business in another state.

No reason to stay up past bedtime tonight. Good job, NFL.

It’s been that way for years. I agree that it’s probably an accounting nightmare, but I suspect Snyder hired a whole cadre of accountants and lawyers to handle such things so he doesn’t have to worry his little head over it. Muriel Bowser’s Mayor’s office and her AG seem to be bringing the charges, so unless some other jurisdiction comes in to take the lead, DC is probably going to remain the prime. The others are probably waiting to take their turn now. It’s just getting started.

That Gruden magic! Only cost the Raiders $30 million dollars.

The Raiders and bad first round picks have a much older history than the Gruden era. Shout-out to Robert Gallery!
