Henry really wasn't back to form for this game. Should've used Foreman a lot more.
I was actually thinking that as we got to the fourth quarter. The Bengals are not defensive dynamos, yet Tennessee seemed out of sync all game. The only real thing I can point to is forcing Henry into the offense when they had already been playing well with Foreman as the feature back.
Kinda damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they hadn't used Henry a lot and still lost, we'd be questioning why they weren't using him more. Bengals were just the better team today.
I seriously hope they don't have to go to Buffalo after the performance of their offensive line today.
Two words I never thought I would see put together in the playoffs while Mike Brown was still alive.
They stopped Derrick Henry on a 3rd and short, a fourth and short, and a two-point conversion try. They also intercepted Tannehill three times and stopped him on a fourth and short. They were the better team today. Limited turnovers, limited penalties and they made the plays they needed to make.
Tennessee sacked Burrow nine times, but most of the time he bounced right back up and got the yardage back with good throws.
It's better to be luckie than than good.
