CFL likely to cancel their 2020 season.

They also got grilled by politicians and public alike when they asked for federal relief funding.

It doesn't help that three of four teams in one division were already in trouble because of ownership. If it wasn't a Canadian league, it would literally be the AAF. There was one owner owning two teams at one point.

I dunno - doesn't look all that bad to me. They made the blue more indigo, the horns a gradient fade. The only thing that I really think puts it off is that weird unnecessary curved blue line through it. Could be much worse, IMO.

But yeah, at the end of the day, it's change for the sake of change.

I’m glad they dropped the “LA” from under the horns.

And to see our glorious Royal Blue and Yellow back warms the cockles of my heart.

Look forward to seeing them in action...in 2021.

I really wish the Giants would get rid of the "NY" from their helmets and go back to the original "Giants" logo (or some variation thereof). They do not represent all of New York by any stretch (as many New Yorkers would resentfully exclaim, particularly upstate), and there are two other teams in that state which they're kind of disrespecting because of it.

It seemed a month ago that the stadium wasn't even going to be finished. So who knows?

Doing a little research, the Giants were the first New York team, founded in 1925. The Jets and Bills both came out of the AFL in 1960 then moved to the AFC in the NFL in 1970, so it would make sense that early Giants uniforms could have an “NY”, since they were the only show in town. Not entirely sure when they changed their helmet design to read “Giants”, but it stands to reason it would have been around the time the other teams were integrated into the NFL, which is cool. Going back to “NY” recently just kind of irks me, but that’s just me, I guess.
