NFL 2018 Season

So Mark Sanchez has been signed to be Colt McCoy's backup on the Skins.

Crap.

Lest we forget, the "Dirty Sanchez" of Jets infamy.

My poor old team's in serious trouble...again. :(
Meh. The could've signed Peterman.

The observation on sports radio around here was that McCoy was actually getting rid of the ball quicker than Smith does, and he seemed comfortable in the offense.

I'm by no means a fan of Washington, but still I don't think the team is in any big trouble. To their benefit, the Cowboys suck, the Giants suck, and the Eagles are in a major Super Bowl hangover. A 9 and 7 record will likely win that division. Hell 8 and 8 might. I'd still trade the Vikings chances to win their division for the Redskins chances to win theirs.

A defensive battle to tonight...

Chiefs can suck it.

Yeah, but Mahomes is still amazing even with his mistakes tonight. Lordy, what a game!

By the way, what genius designed the Rams uniform? They look like giant bees that got drunk and passed out in a pollen patch.

The Steelers also have an ugly-as-ass bumblebee uniform that they trot out occasionally - far more frequently than should be allowed by law.

No doubt. 5 turnovers though, has to clean that up.

Color rush is awesome! Not the perfection of the Royal Blue and Yellow, but awesome nonetheless.

:techman:

I'm here to hype up the Colts who are playing themselves into the wild card conversation (and maybe more?!!) - the offensive line is playing better than it has in years and Luck's outstanding play is the direct result. Frank Reich was the perfect choice for this team (McDaniels backing out was the best thing that could've happened). A win against the Dolphins (who are starting a still not 100% Ryan Tannehill) on Sunday and Indy are up to 6-5, when they were previously 1-5.

Between signing the Buttfumbler, and trying out guys like EJ Manuel and TJ Yates and Josh fucking Johnson (who literally hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL since 2011), they're seriously just making Kaep's collusion case for him.

Firt time i've opely rooted for the Rams in 40 years. But, full disclosure; I always root against the Chiefs. Remember when scoring 50 points not only guaranteed you a win, it guaranteed you a rout. No more. The Rams, Chiefs, and Saints have stopped that. Together they have "Golden State Warriored" the NFL. Not a bad thing, because so many NFL games are downright boring.

I don't think it was so much bad defense as it was overwhelmingly great offense. The Rams won for two reasons, IMO, they were at home, and they have a superstar on D in Aaron Donald.

Anyway, great game, great win for the Rams.

Big fan of Aaron Donald.

BTW: Forgot to post...at the Rams/Seahawks game, with my Seattle-loving pal.

The Bears look to be starting Chase Daniel vs the Lions tomorrow.

If we can get the running game uncorked...finally and the defense doesn't play soft if we get a lead, we might still come away with a win.

Eh, the color rush problem is the ugly ass colors and/or theme being picked by the teams. Teams go out of their way to have ugly uniforms at times, spite maybe? The Bumblebees are a good example.

Honestly, think there are a few good ones out there. Titans is good, Seahawks is fun (if a little painful to look at), Patriots one is pretty good (although wish they had gone with the old Red alternate jersey as the color), Cleveland's isn't bad....

Trubisky genuinely needs to learn how to slide, instead of awkwardly falling onto the ground.

As for Chase Daniel, most scouting reports peg him as the best backup in the NFC North. He won't win a game on his back entirely but he's good enough to not make stupid throws.

The thing about those shootout games is while they are dramatic they generally mean both teams played poor defense.

I like a good defensive battle now and then.

I love that there are so many top tier teams this year/
