NFL 2015-2016 Season - Maybe extra points actually ... matter? What?

That Arizona/Green Bay game was insane.

Hopefully the games today will be equally fun.

Pats looked good, nice to have a couple healthy bodies back. We'll see how the Denver game goes, but don't have much faith in the banged up Steelers. Can't ever count out Peyton choking in the playoffs though.

Seahawks look fairly screwed right out of the gate, didn't expect them to look so bad. Figured they would lose a closer, more defensive game...

It's only the end of the first half. I'm not counting them out yet. But if it is the end for them, we did break the curse on teams that have been to the Super Bowl, not once but twice. We made it back into the playoffs and made it to the divisional round. I'd love it if they can go further this year, but if they don't, I'm still happy. I remember when even making it to the playoffs seemed nearly impossible.

Well, glad to see Denver win, but Peyton and the rest of them definitely need to bring their A-game against Brady next week. Too many bad passes, missed catches and missed tackles - the Pats will chew them up if they play like that again. Painful to watch, but a win is still a win.

Went 4-4 on predictions, should have taken the parley!

Guess we're headed to Denver now. Like our chances, but you never know. Bet Belichick wishes he had t muffed the #1 seed now, totally different game in Foxboro. Hope it's at least cold in Denver this time, it was like 50 last time we went there for playoffs, made it easy on Peyton.

Plus side, Pats either get to go to the Super Bowl or watch Manning lose another one to Carolina. Almost win-win :)

That certainly feels like the smart money right now, hard to see how any of the other 3 would beat them. Never know, I suppose, but feels like Carolina's year

I agree. The Seahawks were and are a great team, but Carolina beat them into submission and then held them down for an entire half. I think that the 'Hawks could have rather easily beaten either New England or the Zombie Peytons.
Arizona is a sneaky good team and they will give Carolina a good game, but the Panthers are in it to win it.
By the way - Peyton is a TERRIBLE quarterback. The Broncos ride the defense and that running game. The Pats will slice and dice them.

I hope Carolina wins it all. They look like the team to beat and it seems like they've been underrated all season long. I hope Denver can beat NE, but I doubt that will happen. Denver played yesterday like they did when Manning was QB the first 8 weeks of the year. They were more lucky than good and I don't think that will work against NE. Also, a Carolina/NE Super Bowl would probably be really fun.

Denver might be able to beat the Pats IF Peyton steps up his game and his receivers can actually figure out how to receive. I lost track of the number of dropped passes in that game that should have been catches/1st downs and potential subsequent TD runs. Their running game looked abysmal too, looking barely beyond just finding breaks in the A-gap.

Denver got lucky against Pittsburgh, IMO. I do not think they can beat the Panthers at all, the state they're in.

I remember in 2014... our game versus the Broncos in Super Bowl 48... I'm glad the Hawks won so decisively, but...What the hell was that? Two years later and I'm still stunned it was such a blowout!

Rematch of Super Bowl 2003 is my prediction, hopefully with the same result. Still think it's Carolina's to lose, but Pats can give them a game, and who knows from there

Also, entertaining stat that doesn't mean too much, but...

Brady has thrown more TDs in Denver than Peyton this season!
