They took four years to make STID and it was still riddled with problems.
No.
The way he melted down on Trek fans online was worrisome. This is high pressure and he's too emotional. I hope I'm wrong.

While I agree that I've never seen anything about a 2015 release before, you could argue that they should start counting from "The Cage" in 1965 instead of when "The Man Trap" aired in 1966.Next year (2015) isn't the 50th anniversary, and I can't recall ever seeing anything involving Paramount expressing any such plans for a 2015 release.

No. Star Trek premiered on September 8th 1966.
"The Cage" was never aired as part of the show.
Good lord, man, slow down, I can barely think straight with everything you're saying! No.They took four years to make STID and it was still riddled with problems.
Nah, the new guys just type faster.
Holy shit! That's pretty quick, considering those new writers were only hired back in the fall, and it's only been 15 months since STID's release. Compared to the 30 months it took to finish STID's script, this is quite the improvement. Does removing Abrams from the equation actually speed things up this much?
2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or whenever. Unless I'm dead, a vegetable or homeless, I'll be there with money in hand to buy a ticket.
There's no reason to think he won't, even if he's still working on Star Wars. He's pretty dedicated to his craft.JJ Abrams would be finishing star wars by then as a director so I hope he can take his producer role seriously instead of just stamping his name on star trek 3.

Well, it did air on TV, but not until 1988, making it the final episode of TOS ever aired -- which is presumably why it's the last episode on the TOS bluray set.
