Come to think of it, there is a Green Lantern Corps movie in the works, with Geoff Johns writing and producing. It's currently scheduled for July 2020. So I doubt we'll get more than winking references to the Corps in the Arrowverse.
Or else they'd have to set the show mostly on Earth with only occasional visits to space, which is in keeping with the early comics, but kind of a wasted opportunity for a Green Lantern show.

The comics Green Lanterns run that started with Rebirth and ended recently (the Cruz/Baz one) was mostly set on Earth too, and it was really good, so frankly I wouldn't mind if that were the case here as well, with an occasional visit to outer space when the budget allows. As an added bonus that way the show could differentiate itself from the planned movies which are likely going to be space based.
Isn't that a bit of spitting hairs, with the fact that some of these characters were determined, on a case-by-case basis, not to be available, because the movie people had plans for them?
Yeah, but how does an Earth-based GL show differentiate itself from other TV superhero shows?
A lot of people think the one of the supporting characters in the character breakdowns for Batwoman sounds like she might be Renee Montoya. If she is Renee Montoya, then I'd say there's a pretty good chance she'll end up The Question eventually.Apparently the Question is off-limits to the Arrowverse because the DC film division has plans for him. Although it's unclear whether that applies just to Vic Sage or to Renee Montoya as well. Anyway, Hub City definitely exists on Earth-1, having been visited in both Arrow and Legends.

Oh, OK.The only thing about that casting call that fits Montoya is that she's a Latina, the rest just doesn't match up at all.
It's a closer fit for Sophie Moore, Kate's ex-girlfriend from West Point days.
I don't see why. It's not like he's appearing on Gotham.I think I remember reading somewhere that Gotham is actually the reason Batman isn't allowed to appear on the Arrowverse shows, rather than the movies. So I have to wonder, once Gotham ends after this season, could we possibly see him then?
I was making a joke because....Gotham.I think it was basically just that it is considered the Batman show right now, so they wanted to leave as much Batman stuff as possible to it alone on the TV front.
I think that gets overstated. Titans seems to be using mostly the Dick Grayson and Titans related stuff. Mostly Titans ( and by extension the Doom Patrol) The crossover included quite a bit of Batstuff. And I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs. Freeze shows up on Batwoman.OK, I understand. My fear now is that since Robin is a big focus on Titans, it will become "the Batman show" and Batwoman will end limited in how much stuff from his comics they'll be able to use.
Seeing as how they might be working on two Joker movies right now.
There are THREE.

But FOX probably owns the TV rights to the character under an agreement so either WB/CW would need their permission and usually that mmeans more money changing hands, so it's a we can mention, but not directly show...situation.I don't see why. It's not like he's appearing on Gotham.
