Looks like the world is controlled by superman

Injustice League? Superman not raised by kind hearted parents?

Also what is that big book Kara is carying?

We've seen a photo of black-suited Superman with that book, and the Monitor is holding it in the poster. So it's probably a MacGuffin connected to the shifting/overlapping/whatever timelines, like The Book of the Multiverse or something.

Or maybe it's the Book of Shadows and there's a stealth Charmed crossover being thrown in with everything else. ;)

I interpret the two pics of Superman to indicate that the guy in black is not the Earth 38 Superman. Am I the only one? By the way, Tyler Hoechlin's body double looks the part, at least from the back.

Yeah, I've seen conjectures elsewhere that the photos indicate a battle between "our" Superman and his black-suited doppelganger from some parallel world.

I'm actually beginning to wonder if Batwoman will take place on it's own Earth, separated entirely from Earth-1 or Earth-38.

I hope not. I mean, I've had the same thought that introducing her in "Elseworlds" might imply that, but I'd rather have Batwoman set on Earth-38, because we could use a second show there.

Same here.

Definitely looks that way.

I could live with that. It would be an awful waste of Superman to not have him be "our" Superman, and not have him fighting for good. It would mean that 2 out of 3 appearances of Superman would have him on the wrong side for at least part of the time.

I quite agree. I also hope we'll see plenty of Barry as the Flash & Oliver as the Green Arrow as well, especially with John Wesley Shipp reprising the role (we think) as 1990s Flash. We don't get these crossovers all that often, so its a waste.
Amell just tweeted this

Could we get a last minute in joke as him as Batman and felicity as Selina Kyle?

Heads would roll
Given that its been reported Batman will appear in the Gotham series finale, I can't see that its a reference to Batman even as a joke

The released photos of Shipp-Barry-Flash include one on location and one in an indoor setting that looks like STAR Labs, so that suggests he gets more than a brief cameo.

I think it was ARGUS, unless they're sharing computer graphics between the two shows.

I would guess that there are probably two or three different "Elseworlds" stories throughout the story. It is a pretty common trope to have our heroes bounce between worlds in a single story arc.
