Has anything this guy said actually come true? Not trying to pick on him but just going by his previous videos it seems nothing he has mentioned has actually come to pass in any shape or form.
TL;DR: He's counting on Paramount's Chris Parnell (currently Executive Vice President for Paramount+ Originals) to take over Star Trek in a Kevin Feige-ish capacity.
I don't think that's going to happen (at least, not formally). I don't see the Trek Fairy tapping her magic wand on Chris Parnell's head and POOF! suddenly putting him in charge of Trek.
I see P+ keeping Alex Kurtzman and having him report to Parnell (Kurtzman has hit more than he's missed).
Disney is scaling back the Marvel streaming series and refocusing on feature films.
I don't see Kurtzman leaving (Had P+ really been hell-bent on getting rid of him, they would've done so long before now)
Kurtzman won't see his contract renewed as Paramount isn't producing any new Trek for Streaming; and they have people 'working' on a Feature Film (supposedly) so no, they aren't putting Kurtzman in charge to oversee that.

Without even watching the video, I already know that the "Big Update" is that it still isn't happening.
BIG UPDATE Scott Bakula says he's still interested in reprising the role. Subscribe now for more bullshit and abject nothingness.
The author also revealed an idea for a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover called Star Star. Plot points would include Spock becoming a Force ghost after dying in The Wrath of Khan, Sulu gaining Jedi abilities, and McCoy entirely healing Darth Vader's body.

Andy Weir also has a bonkers Star Trek/Star Wars crossover ideawww.polygon.com
I'm assuming this is something he's had in mind since he was a kid that he's not planning on seriously pursuing (or he's purely messing with people), but it's bonkers enough that I thought it deserved a highlight.I’ve heard you’ve pitched a Star Trek show. Can you share that pitch?
Well, I’m not telling about that. Because I want to pitch that again, with everything changing, but I will tell you about a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover fic I’ve had for ages. In my mind, I call it “Star Star.”
The idea is that the Genesis device going off at the end of The Wrath of Khan rips a hole in the fabric of reality. And so did, too, the Death Star exploding in A New Hope. It becomes the Yavin/Mutara wormhole. Then I imagine the Enterprise goes there, and so from that point forward, the stories diverge from canon.
Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader end up on the Star Trek side of that wormhole because the Death Star blew up and they’re in their ships, both of them. And the Enterprise picks up Vader. And they’re like: “This guy is f*cked up. He's got these cybernetic implants.” And so they completely repair his body, which McCoy does in sickbay. And then he's back to Anakin.
And when the Enterprise goes to the Star Wars universe, Spock is dead, because it’s the end of The Wrath of Khan, but then Spock becomes a Force ghost. And Sulu has inherent Jedi abilities which manifest once he goes there.
