News? Stories from Dubious Sources

Well eventually they might be right.

Agreed. Any engagement whatsoever helps the channel. Even if you give it a thumbs down and make a comment about how stupid they are, you're just helping them.
Grifters gonna grift. I really wish I'd thought of it, they don't believe half the nonsense they say but it keeps the electricity on. I'd run 2 channels, one in disguise being ultra negative and one legit:lol:

I get why it can be fun to laugh at this stuff, but I can't really bring myself to give this fellow's videos a click. It sort of vindicates his nonsense, IMO. He'll see the numbers go up, and while I wouldn't presume to get inside anybody's head, I could easily see him thinking that means he's doing something right in routinely pitching this malarkey.

It does seem like his videos' overall viewership has trended downward over the years, at least. It's almost like people slowly began to realize something...

Here's the solution, don't.
His vids are the lamest thing you can watch.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new movie ends up serving as a backdoor pilot.
The path to Legacy was paused because Matalas moved on to Disney for a little while.
JMS said the dust wasn't going to settle in Hollywood until 2026, so we'll probably know a lot of stuff by next year, but for now we just don't.
The other dubious claim is Netflix is moving forward with a B5 reboot, sans JMS.

Legacy is more than paused. It's dead at this point, just like all of the other show pitches we've been hearing about lately.

It's a tale as old as Hollywood - new management comes in with new priorities, and all of the items in development from the prior admin get purged.

If it was a backdoor pilot, they would've used Piper or Boyce (blank slates that can be developed) instead of McCoy (a character with sixty years of backstory behind him).

Paramount wants to get away from Kirk, Spock, and McCoy for a while. (They're rebooting the feature film franchise with a new ship and a new crew that has no connection whatsoever to the rest of the franchise.)

McCoy and Sulu's primary function is to juice the series finale's ratings.

I don't think Outcast was talking about SNW, they were talking about the new film by Goldstein and Daley

Can a show be dead if it was never in any kind of production or consideration?
