There was another 4chan post a couple of days ago. This time, Strange New Worlds is totally fine (the first post strongly suggested otherwise) but might receive a new creative team if and when Kurtzman gets the ax. (Which has been said to be happening soon since, what, 2017?) Discovery ended this upcoming season and Short Treks being cancelled were both doubled-down upon. Emma Watts is supposedly in a big power struggle to remove Alex Kurtzman. Somehow, JJ Abrams is receiving profits on Star Trek licensing via Bad Robot, and hence he's backing... Watts. Oh, and Star Trek: Picard is canceled and Sir Patrick will change his tune about the series dramatically come November once he's released from his contract.
Tidbits of this might be true. But if so, it will have zilch to do with the second of two dumb 4chan posts and counting. Your usual suspects are treating it as gospel or close to it: Doomcock, Nerdrotic, Midnight's Edge. Meanwhile, your usual website suspects are reporting on it with clickbait headlines. We've Got This Covered; Bounding into Comics. Yadda.
Short Treks may indeed have ended. Kurtzman stating that he's "hopeful" it can continue given its Emmy nomination hints at the possibility of it. It's possible that Lower Decks' viewership is not great if Bell Media's Canadian viewership ratings are true and representative of CBS All Access viewership as well. The former is reasonably possible. The latter is not, IMO.
Discovery ending with its third season seems highly unlikely. Stranger things have happened. Picard ending without a second season seems even less likely.

Sure, some of it may be true. I may be on the shortlist to play the communications officer in Strange New Worlds too, but the chances of any of this coming into play are pretty slim to none.

Every time I see Emma Watts, I think "Emma Watson" and I'm all, "hold up, Emma Watson is involved with Star Trek?" Then I get disappointed when I realize that is not indeed the case.

If you read the whole article, they point out that the rumors are false - that is the crux of the article that Star Trek shows are doing quite well and are responsible for an increase of subscribers to CBS All Access.
