I don't take it personally, I'm not even offended (it takes more to offend me ;) ), I'm just bored. I've heard those jokes a lot, I want something more imaginative.

The funniest thing was how New Zealand overnight has become a footballing nation when there is no overt interest in the game.

Thus the commentary for the game last night was the worst football commentary I've ever heard, it was endemic of a country that had no interest in football at all and only shows netball and rugby on the TV.

Anyone watching Ireland vs France? I'm rooting for Ireland although I don't like them much (I hate the current French football team, bunch of pathetic hacks with no skills or brain), but the atmosphere appears to be very impressive.

Anyone else see the irony inherent in the fact that the NZ football team call themselves the 'All Whites' and the 'All Whites' are now off to South Africa for the World Cup.

They'll be lynched. They need a new nickname, they sound like a white supremacist team on tour.
