New years traditions

Breakfast tacos with too much spicy verde salsa, black Chicory coffee New Years Morning, and cigarettes that I swear is my last. House cleaning. Also, My wife and I apologize for the stupid shit we said and did the night before.

New Years Eve is always cake with my family around lunchtime- it is my brothers birthday so we always, never failing, get cake

I have in the past have really horrible and dramafilled new years eves, so I love it when I can have good reason to just stay home and have a nice dinner and watch movies and now.. cozy up with my boyfriend.

My tradtion is to spend New Years eve nowhere near my family. And drunk.

Up until 2 or 3 years ago, my family would play board games NYE, usually Monopoly or Risk. However, the parents have started going to bed real early and the brother usually goes down to Colorado to run a NYE 5k, so I'm hoping to start a new tradition of just going out and hanging with friends.
