New Years Resolution Thread!

I don't think this has already been done. What is your new years resolution for the great 2009? This thread is a follow-up from the "what have you accomplished in 2008" great-- to what you WANT to accomplish in 2009! I'll post mine soon, I need to think about this...

Get back to the gym - I started to slack when my essays and exams were needing to get done and I never got back to it really. That and I ate a lot of bad food during the holidays. I plan to buy one of those vegetable steamers we talked about in the other thread.

Whatever goal I set the opposite happens.

So... this year I resolve to go utterly broke, lose the rest of my possessions, go through a painful and emotionally draining divorce, suffer several expensive and chronic medical conditions including but not limited to some untreatable form of cancer... and die a horrible, gruesome and ultimately pointless death.

TAKE THAT UNIVERSE! HA!

I don't believe in New Years resolutions but I do believe in goals:

- Get my social life back on track. It absolutely sucks right now. It's even worse when I have a Cell Phone, but the only time it's used is to call family members. I'm not such a bad guy, am I? :(

-One way to get the social life back on track, get a freaking job. It's going to be tough, but I'm out of school and I need stuff to do. I'm bored

-Maintain the 180 to 190 ibs. range. I'm 24, maybe underweight but it just tells me not to under or over eat.

-Figure out what a good gym regimen is and go back.

Hmm..I have a lot of goals or resolutions this year..A few come to mind.

-get a good paying job and find a place of my own
-get my body in better shape by losing at least 30lbs
-get my life on track!

Commit to my morning runs consistently.
Start writing screenplays for my producing partner who has a serious case of writers block.
Less fast food, more cooking at home.
Buy a MacBook to help organize my life.
Go out with at least 12 different women throughout the year in an attempt to be in a relationship by 2010.

Continue to get back to fitness and to a weight that I'm happy with.
Not to let the work thing bog me down like it did this year.
Make sure I continue to save sensibly.
Spend more time with the friends I've neglected this year.
Stop beating myself up about things I'm not responsible for.

That's enough to be going on with.

- Do whatever I can to stay employed full-time, given the current economic crisis
- Excel at grad school, so that my employer will reimburse me for 80% of the tuition (because that's the only reason I'm even doing this!)
- Go on a date or two... I think it's time for me to not be single anymore
