He's probably not related to Wolverine specifically. That looks like Sabretooth chasing after him in those hallways (a school, maybe?), maybe he's been hired to hunt down mutants for Weapon X and Scott just happened to be one of them. I dunno.What's up with Scott Summers in relation to Wolverine's origins?
And will he have more screen time in this than the last three movies combined?
I just wish they'd drop that stupid prefix.
Okay, how did the symmetrical scar guy who is supposed to be Deadpool absorb Scott's power and get eye-beams? Are they modifying their DNA to give them the powers of the captured Mutants or something?
And I guess regular old aviator sunglasses are good enough to stop Scott's eye-beams from shining through now? Unless he's constantly just keeping his eyes shut behind them, but then that would make so deftly running down the twisting hallways of the school kind of difficult. He's obviously supposed to be pre-Xavier school here, and the lenses were black, not red...

Apparently it's Deadpool as Weapon XI
Oh, thanks. I thought Weapon XI was going to be played by a martial artist named Scott Adkins? I guess they could just have him filling in for Ryan Reynolds to do the martial arts scenes, since his face is all jacked up anyway.
Scott Adkins plays Weapon XI and stunt-doubles Ryan Reynolds.
This movie looks awful. I'm sorry but it does. And that's discounting all the huge gaps in movie continuity. Bad enough they had to butcher Deadpool here, but to drag poor Cyclops back for one more round of Wolverine making him his bitch is too much. The character must have just really rubbed someone at Fox the wrong way when they were kids.

The trailer shows a surprising amount of a young Cyclops. I didn't know he had such a big part.

I despise that they're having Logan chose to become Wolverine in this movie. One of the main points of his backstory was that he DID NOT CHOSE TO BECOME WOLVERINE! Makes his bitching about the government seem stupid.

Which is something I never understood. If he's Canadian then whey does he talk, look, and act just like a Texas redneck?
And I always loved his excuse for drinking beer. His healing factor prevents him from getting drunk. So then what's the point of drinking? "I like the taste." Fuck you Logan, no one likes the taste. Poser.
