Beautiful work, but shouldn't there be a couple more gold shirts? Sulu & Chekov manned the same positions as Detmer & Owosekun. And Stamets is engineering, same as Scotty.

Still, with them holding hands like that, it reminds me of a promo shot for Friends.

This is typical of the lack of care given to discovery in a way as all these uniforms should have been sorted BEFORE the show started and not in the second season.
Its not like they had no previous trek shows for templates and did not know the routine.
Still I guess better late than never.

The fact there is only 4 "regulars" does bot bode well either.

Actually, no. Well, okay, Detmer is the helmsman, so yes, she should be wearing gold in that picture, but Owosekun is the Ops officer, like Data or Harry Kim, so red is correct for her.

I always thought a department which looks after a matter/antimatter engine should have a few science specialists assigned, but this seems an idea the other shows never seemed keen on.
