New Trek Series: Hazard team!

The concept works, they can get into new adventures each week on different ships, with guest stars from DS9 and Voy and TNG - fans get to see updates on their favorite characters etc.

Wouldnt be a bad idea to do a Trek show mixed with NCIS. It could show the same team or teams doing espionage stuff and going after bad guys. Basically take NCIS and stick it into trek and there you go. As long as it was written intelligently Id watch it...

Make it a "what really goes on in Starfleet behind the fluffy exterior". Make it show the seedy sort of underbelly of the universe with the hard decisions that have to be made. They could be the trouble shooters everyone calls on to fix those unfixable problems, sort of like a SWAT / FBI Hostage Rescue Team with some CSI, NCIS etc etc thrown in and just a sprinkle of "The Dirty Dozen". Lots of action, drama & intrigue and a intelligent sub plot that runs through the series. You could even have them working as a sort of "intelligence" team or Commandos in war time.

I always thought the old "Section 31" concept had some potential, which seems like what these suggestions would be.

I think its a good idea. if they can get some good writers who can write intelligently, along with some strong drama actors, it could be really good. id watch it.

Hard to see how they'd make a runabout freeze-framed midway over a canyon look dramatic, though. "Those Section 31 boys are really in deep this time."
