The one I remember just cut off with the welder guy and a top shop of the front - not the side shots and the rest.

I hadn't watched it in a while. Its content is no different, but I'd swear it's brighter. I don't remember being able to see that much detail before.

Looks like they might have removed a filter layer... You can definitely see more details.

It has been tweaked - filtering removed, credits added, new release date added, the bussard collectors are now spinning (I'm sure they weren't before) and the shot immediately after "The Future Begins" caption is a new addition AFAICT

^ Er...no. The engine blades were always spinning, and the only thing that has changed seems to be an increase in brightness as has already been noted. I see no additions as far as footage goes, and there have always been credits, they've just been changed to read Summer 2009 instead of Christmas 2008.
