I wouldn't say it looks bad, but, it definitely looks to be extremely close to the Ahnuld version, without the Mars setting/references, so, nothing really in that trailer inspires me with a need to see the new version, at this point, it just seems to be a hollowed out retread, though almost certainly the ending will have to be different.This looks kinda bad. Some of the visuals are reasonably nice (if a bit bland), but it's becoming clearer and clearer to me that this is pretty much going to be a beat-by-beat remake of the old movie rather than a new adaptation of the original short story. They just removed the over-the-top violence and the Mars setting to make it more mainstream-friendly (& thereby less interesting).
As someone who hasn't seen the original I thought it look pretty cool.

I'd think they'd have to, since "Quaid" in the original film is so closely tied to Mars and his mission there.
