New To Voyager

When they split B'Elanna, the Human half that wasn' killed was unsustainable.

She would have died without reintegration with remnants from the Klingon corpse that also used to be her.

How tidy.

Meanwhile in Deadlock they all became unresovlable transporter accidents who have to accept that are all %50 the people they used to be. Half men and half women.

Meanhile how many people did Tuvok murder in repression?

3?

4?

Sure Janeway can't have known about that, but the brainwashing was inside Tuvok and just waiting for a trigger so that he can murder death kill the Maquis crew all and sundry.

Tuvok living means that every Maquis on the ship must die, and depending on how competant he is, they will all die.

I don't think Tuvok killed anyone in Repression.

Back to first principles, was Gary Mitchell innocent?

Sure sometimes Gary was a batshit god trying to enslave the Federation, but Kirk waited till he was sane and powerless, innocent even, until he shot the bastard dead.

5 people in a coma?

That story makes even less sense now.

I think Gary had the Silver Eyes when Kirk brought that rock down on him.

I thought the point was that he was unkillable while he was in silver.

Sally Kellerman used her powers to weaken him, so that the phaser rifle could finish him...

oh.

####, these interim pilot uniforms are ugly.

Spock looks terrible in gold.

Yes, you are right and I am wrong.

Sally Kellerman looks like a child.

She was in the FX comedy Maron a couple weeks ago.

Still in the game.

But even when Gary was powered down, he wasn't sane, he kept fighting Jim, so my argument falls apart from both ends.

Sulu in Blue just looks wrong.

Was George even playing Sulu in the pilot?

Kirk addresses him as Sulu in the briefing room scene after they're aware something is happening to Mitchell. Sulu mentions the doubling a penny every day until you're a millionaire in a month.

I only watched the very beginning and the very end 5 minutes ago.

Sitting through 52 minutes of the pilot again to find out that I am probably definitely wrong again just seemed masochistic.

Are you aware of Chrissie's Transcripts? Here's the text for the 2nd pilot. Bottom of the page takes you back to episode lists.

http://www.chakoteya.net/StarTrek/2.htm

If you do any copy/pastes from it, you need to preview the post first and edit out text formatting that gets picked up even for a single line.

Or you highlight the text field in the reply box, and then push the button in the upper left corner margin below the word "message:" which is a red X over a couple letter A's, which removes formatting, and the the formatting is removed.

:)

I have ALLOFSTARTREK on an external drive currently plugged into my PC, which is what I was watching/drawing from when I was judging the costume choices in the pilot a couple posts up.

I can never get the Remove Text Formatting to work right for me, so I do it the hard way. I do multiple quotes in a post the hard way too, because I can't figure out the multi-quote function.

And polls? Can't do them either.

WHAT

why did I not know this

As to the pilot, I think it is boring as all crap. YES I said something in TOS was boring, really only the pilot and The Alternative Factor are boring.

Fashionwise the crewneck things are hilarious now. Spock looks so disheveled the whole time, his shirt is baggy, his eyebrows are raggy.

You need a BBS teacher's aide.
Or I should go back to never being online again. I had a lot of trouble with math too. Didn't understand algebra when it was introduced in 7th grade. Failed high school Algebra I. Had an algebra tutor the summer before starting college. Failed every test of College Algebra I, but the teacher gave me a passing grade of D because I was trying. I was also taking some sort of remedial algebra course at the same time but I think it was only good for 1 credit hour, not the needed 3. A few years later, I tried again, finally getting a C.

That's great you got a C in algebra eventually! As we all know it is a very useful life skill, I am sure your average competence has served you well :techman:

... There is also a handshake.

I'm guessing that Melakon's computer is old and it won't or can't update, and this is what is fighting the board functions.

Or hobgoblins.

Hobgoblins are running around his house fucking shit up whenever he turns his back.

Oh yeah some stuff doesn't work or does work or whatever.. I know I use chrome on some sites because firefox fails to manage things like X's or buttons. Chrome works better 95% of the time, don't know why I still use firefox for stuff. The cute fox?

It's useful having two facebooks on different browsers.

Actually, I didn't really begin to understand any of it until I started learning computer programming and having to code equations. At least then I saw a practical need for it, but I was never good at it.
