News New Star Wars movie being developed by... Kevin Feige?

What really makes this seem unlikely to me is the idea that 1) Feige even knows who Ahsoka is, let alone want to tell a story with her AND already has an actor in mind, and 2) that anyone but Filloni would be given first refusal for the first live action appearance for this specific character.

That's a big one for me, I would like to think if we are going to see her in live action it would be in something that Dave Filoni is involved with.
I just remembered, Dave Filonis is a writer and director on The Mandalorian, so I'm thinking if they were going to introduce her in live action that would probably be the place they would do it.
 
There were so many Star Wars movies in development before Solo changed the game. Yoda, Darth Maul, Boba Fett and a few others i'm forgetting. Maybe Feige chose one of those?

Until we get more concrete into on Rian Johnson's project, TRoS will be the end of SW for me.

Rian did dare to make new characters (DJ - if nothing else, the acting was phenomenal and his return as a villain or henchman would have been most welcomed, Rose - whose deleted scenes made her journey a lot easier to buy into) as well as doing the unexpected-- and Luke was not out of character with the way things turned out with creating Kylo so he would hide and do nothing but drink that blue milk (that we now know where it came from as we all wanted to know in 1977 when we first saw the end product) for the rest of his life, but being passive aggressive enough to want his ego coddled by leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for his friends to find (and not seeing them for decades didn't help much either). Now, the dialogue could have been more polished but, erm, this is Star Wars where every one except for arguably TESB has had some problems with clunky or over the top situational dialogue.

Then add in scenes with that magnificent (and sound-free explosion, which is the first time this franchise has used scientific accuracy for explosive theatrical effect - to the point some theaters apparently needed to put up disclaimers reading they don't have malfunctioning audio equipment regarding one key scene... :brickwall::brickwall::brickwall::guffaw: (headbanging over how many complained, which still boggles my mind but we live in a day and age where you show someone a comedy movie made in the 1980s and they're upset when the expected fart noise didn't materialize on cue since that's what all comedies now think is funny...) ) It was one of the movie's most jaw-droppingly big scenes...

Wait, it may have been green milk. But they can't use blue because of the muted teal/orange palette every movie has been stuck to for decades, no matter how trite it gets.

Um, the dude makes movies. He can write what he wants and the audience isn't obligated to agree with every last syllable of it. How does that justify what you're implying? Which suggests a death penalty as based on what others have decided, so let's explore this for just an iota, shall we? We say the death penalty is abhorrent for mass murderers, repeat murders, repeat rapists, and so on... but is apparently all okey-dokey for someone who has done nothing else but writes movie scripts?! I do believe the priorities are a bit lopsided...

It is the most painful part of the internet. Wishing death upon people that we have no interaction or connection with.

And no, it's not funny. Joking about death, suicide, murder, and the like are extremely offensive.

I've never been overly impressed by the MCU, at the same time, it is a smart business move by Disney. Though Feige's touch will wear off at some point, so I'm not sure it is good idea to overextend him.
