I just don't see [Han] signing up for Imperial service. it just doesn't fit.
Yeah but presumably a younger Han would have been much better at getting by on his own, and would be able to create better opportunities for himself than some naive farm boy like Luke.
He was probably already hitching rides on freighters and learning the ropes from smugglers by the age we see Luke at in ANH.
I'm sure it'll be an entire season.Maybe they'll do the story about the Death Star plans too!![]()
Kanan is in possession of a holocron.
Apparently, there is a thing called Kessel spice mines (I only knew the Kessel run), but they’ll appear, too.

Military service might be the only choice to get a better life for a young unprivileged person in the Empire. You get an education and learn usefull skills and get a regular paycheck so that you can start a life when you finished your sevice.
At the beginning of ANH Luke tells us exactly that - his only way off Tatooine is the imperial military so he was planning to join, all of his friends already have.
IIRC Greg Weisman is friends/associates with Michael Reeves the writer of Coruscant Nights
Meh. The names don't really bug me very much so long as they don't walk around being called something along the lines of "Vengeful McStabbalot."
