As I posted abve- having th eEnterprise designed for time travel to 'fix' the timeline has too problems. How did they even know it was an altered timeline (the Enterprise apparently took the time Kirk was at the academy to build- he saw it undersonstruction (mostly complete) as he arrived) and it kills the whole idea of the NuTOS franchise. If they succede in fixing things JJA's universe reverts back (unless they screw up and a THIRD timeline is created)
