That plot originated in the ST09 Prequel comic, STO just expanded on it.
That's true. Albeit, I think that kind of ruined the "joke" of the Narada that it's just a mining ship and the equivalent of an oil tanker smashing up 17th century galleons.

Thing is, Narada would have had to be upgraded anyway. It was not Nero's intention to go back in time, that happened accidentally. If he planned on taking on 24th century Starfleet and destroying the core worlds of the Federation, he'd need something a bit more impressive than "a simple mining vessel."That's true. Speculative spoilers:It sounds like the Rikers have a daughter, so I'm hoping they'll go with the books and have her named Natasha.
A couple of simple lines by Riker could take a hammer to the Titan books.
Or at least to the ones leading into Destiny and afterwards (circa the TNG-relaunch). The first few books (the ones set immediately after the events of Nemesis itself) MIGHT be relatively safe, depending on the breaks.A couple of simple lines by Riker could take a hammer to the Titan books.
Titan is already intricately connected to the Destiny series and the rest of the novelverse, which are already kaput.A couple of simple lines by Riker could take a hammer to the Titan books.
I always take the view that it's best to think of this like Lois and Clark, Supergirl, Superman: The Animated Series, the comics, and the movies.
I hadn't heard about that, it's a makes sense.Speculative spoilers:
The name Kestral showed up on the IMDB page for a character played by a young actor a few weeks ago. That was the name of Deanna's dead sister, so I think that's her name.
Well, probably.Erm...
Fucked?
Well, probably.
Picard really doesn't lend itself to folding in the current novelverse, as I think we'd all expected.
Now I suppose it's a matter of waiting to see what rabbit is pulled from the hat and how the (presumed) reset works.
