NEW ONGOING TREK CROSSOVER SERIES BEGINS OCTOBER 2022

I started the first digital collection of this yesterday, and the one thing that seemed odd to me isn't making any more sense in context, the characterization of Khaless. In pretty much all of his other appearance he's made he was a more philosophical character, and seemed to have no problem letting the High Council do it's thing, and had no working with Starfleet, and now here all of a sudden here he's taken over the Empire, and is super hostile to Sisko and his crew. I know this is a different continuity from books like The Left Hand of Destiny, Full Circle, Prey, ect., but even just going by his appearance in Rightful Heir and references to him in other episodes, this all seems pretty drastically out of character for him.

Well, when you are done with the complete series, then I can unleash some detailed rants on matters like this!

OK, there's some weird stuff that's bugging me with this so, I'm not sure if I'm keep going. First of all the the Crystaline Entities are not "gods", I had also seen as more space animals, and we never really saw them do anything even remotely godlike. We saw them attack a few planets, but I was under the impression that was basically just the way they ate, nothing more than that.
And the characterization of Worf was a little off to me too, I know him and Sisko got pretty close by the end of DS9, but him calling a brother, and referring to him as a brother and even using his first name while on duty felt to me like it was taking that way too far. Their big fight on the bridge also felt a bit over the top, and out of character for both of them.
Alexander's reasons for joining the Kahless didn't really work for me either, I had thought the whole point of his DS9 arc was that he was able to deal with all of those issues and found his place in the Defense Force. So this just felt like a unnecessary step backwards for the character.
