Guess the animated series might have had a sort of refit Enterprise, guess after each 5 year mission it would get a big overhaul anyway so here and there some changes can be explained that way.

I enjoy the animated series, but my first love is the original Star Trek and that beautiful model of the Enterprise! I can always make another for the animated show.

I am hoping to get some work done on the model today, but until then, I wanted to have some fun. I still have to work on the textures and the lighting. This is just for enjoyment!

I never get tired of looking at this ship. As nice as the TMP refit is the TOS E will always be my favourite.

Covid19 really messed with my head. I've been teaching myself to work again in 3D and texturing (I think it all got kind of wiped out of my head). This is where I am now. I've obviously got a LOT of work to do on this in order to make it acceptable.

It is going in the right direction, relearning things like this isn't easy, you're going to get it right though, I'm very confident in that.
Guess I can just say to not be impatient with yourself, things this complicated needs time and a lot of steps.

As for the ship, a cleanup and a little paint would do it to get her back into tip top shape.
