New Merlin on BBC

How did we get up to 15 pages? Last I thought we had 11 and now everything is stretched out somehow.

Did anyone think this last ep was also a shout out to all the slash fans? I don't go for it, but the way the King tied up the jester and claimed to go for Arthur himself? I wish the show would get serious and stay that way. It's better like that with the dry wit and real comraderie. The use of Gwen wad good here, but come on Morgana already. I hope when they have her go bad, she don't become a reduced character-more reduced than she already is.

I show 15, the number of pages is down to how many posts-per-page you have your User CP set to.

So with series 3 commissioned when are we going to hear about The Scrimshaw Pirates, if that's even still on the cards to replace Robin Hood.

I dont know the only mention I can find of it, is on Kudos wikipedia website, but that is all I know, did find this as well

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2007/05_may/24/outcasts.shtml

BBC Drama today announces that Outcasts – a brand new high concept series from Kudos Film and Television and Ben Richards (Spooks, Party Animals) – is in development by BBC Wales for BBC One.

Set in space with the future of earth looking increasingly precarious, the race is on in Outcasts to find an alternative home in the universe.

In return for their "liberty", a group of social misfits and criminals are sent to be the pioneers of a large new settlement on a near planet.
I know the BBC has had some trouble with indeys (independent production company's) of late, but Kudos seems to be worth its weight in gold.

I know thats not it, its just a series I thought might be worth brining to your attention

I think we have had quite enough of a) Pirates of the Caribbean, and b) modern day pirates, so I am approaching this one with caution.

I do remeber reading something about a 3 musketeers drama on the BBC as well.

^I don't think Outcasts came to anything, I emailed them asking about it once, and they just responded that they didn't have any new information it.

Yay!! Now how will this bode for use Stateside? Will NBC or BBCA sign a package to air both 2 and 3? I hope this means the creators are going to continue with the serious story and not reset with the dumb eps again in 3.

it cant hurt its chances of signing a new deal, however I think its more likley to be BBCAm, than anywhere else, unless the bods over at Syfy take an interest

Well with this Comcast merger, who the heck owns the rights now? NBC and Syfy or BBCA? Curious then how Hulu will figure into it, too.

Anywho, what about tonight's episode?
