I just checked deepdiscount.com and buy.com, the price on Voyager and Enterprise DVDs has dropped. MSRP $69.99, with the actual retail price lower.

Amazon is still shooting the moon with regards to pricing on Voyager DVDs.

Fortunately, FYE was clearing out their Voyager DVDs at the end of 2007 and I was able to get seasons 5-7 for $59.99 NEW! I'd previously acquired 1-4 used between $39.99 and $59.99 from FYE or Amazon sellers.
I picked up ENT (1 & 4) from FYE for $59.99 (season one was still factory sealed, so it was actually new). Seasons 2 & 3 were purchased from Deep Discount new for about $69.99 during their big sale. So now we have all of Trek on DVD.

That's brilliant news (for me) - I've been waiting for the prices to come down for months now. I've already got the first two seasons of Voyager, so looks like I'll be buying the third season tonight!

I still haven't picked up any Star Trek seasons on DVD yet, they are still a bit to high for me and no store ever seems to have them lower then $50.
Lots of DVD sets with a MSRP of $70 are put on sale for $20-30, but for some reason I guess online stores never put old seasons of Star Trek on sale.
If some store would put DS9 on sale for $20-30 each I would buy all 7 seasons.

Anytime I've ordered something from DD that was out of stock they got it back in stock within a few weeks.

That is one of the more frustrating aspects of dealing with them. However, most of what I buy is usually from their buy one get one free sales and when you factor in their already discounted pricing and free shipping I guess a little frustration is worth the savings. In December I ordered $200 worth of DVDs for only $100. It took four separate shipments and 5 or 6 weeks but everything eventually did arrive. I have called and made formal complaints to them before though because I have paid for expedited shipping and not one item was in stock. They did gladly refund my shipping costs and apologized for the delay.
On the opposite side...In dealing with Amazon.com I have only ever had one item, of the hundreds of items ordered, back-ordered on me. Usually packages arrive within three days and quite often two and on rare occasion the very next day after ordering. You cannot fault Amazon service. They have it down!
