New Frontier Question

I'm going to my parents' house tonight. I think I'm going to hunt down my books. I have a feeling they're in the attic. :(

^ Better than loaning them out to somebody. I never got back my copy of Gods Above, and it's the only NF novel I'm missing (aside from What Lay Beyond and No Limits, which I don't count).

If you like the series, you should check out No Limits, while it only has one (I think) PAD story, it's still got a lot of really good stories in it.

Holy shit, I just got all my books back. I had 4 full bins of them! I never realized I bought that many books back in the day.

Good news: I found my NF books. Double Helix is the only one I never bought, so I will have to track that down. I think I'm going to start with Book 1 tonight.

Did you get "Stone and Anvil" as a first-printing hardcover? "Double or Nothing" is included on the CD.

No, I waited for the paperback with most of the NF books. Since all the original books were paperback, I wanted to keep things uniform. I started getting annoyed when they started releasing them in hardcover...and now trade paperback with the most recent release. They don't match anymore!

Well, you can buy Double Or Nothing used starting from 1 cent on amazon, so it won't be too hard to track down.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. I've got quite a few novels to get through first, though. I've given amazon way too much money lately! :p

It's horrible, isn't it? I have all these neat rows of Trek books from the numbered days, and all these misshapen and wonky rows for New Frontier. It doesn't help that they kept changing the spine design every few books.

Sell your hardcovers and trades on eBay and swap them for MMPB reprints. The only one you can't do that for is "No Limits".

Well, yeah, but I own the original 4 books. They were skinny, but they were at least the right height.
