New figures for 2010 including a look at 11th Doctor

now all I need is a Dinah Glass action figure

That'd be cool and at the same time, wrong.

Besides, i was about 9 or 10 when that show aired, so shes probably blossomed since then, maybe an update is required to the prototype.

I looked on IMDB and she has not worked since, so I have no clue what she looks like now, sort of an appperance in the SJA we may never know.

She & Luke would get on very well

Picked up my "Unearthly Child" version of the First Doctor this week, and having recently finished watching my first Hartnell episode ("The Aztecs"), I must say the likeness is remarkable. But having not yet seen the pilot episode, can someone tell me the significance of the skull that comes with the Doctor?

As for the skull, the second part of the episode "An Unearthly Child" is titled "The Cave of Skulls"...

Yeah it's definitely... missing something. But to be fair, it would probably be impossible to EVER recreate a set like that in toy form.

Especially since a lot of what makes that set work-- and seem as magical as it does-- is the lighting.

My camera is cheap and horrible, so I ran these through Photoshop to give them some worth. All images clickable thumbnails...

For a cheap and horrible cam, it's not bad.

Mine sucks. It's about five years old, no image stabilization and it's crap in low light. Actually, that camera is why I keep writing web comic stories but not shooting them.

And that Tardis set looks like shit. There's so much missing from the walls (cardboard is cheap CO... spring for some) and, unlike the Ninth/Tenth Tardis, it won't be as easy to fill the walls in with the printouts floating around the net. Add to that NO lights or sound and... meh!

As for that play set, yeah, it's definitely missing the razzle-dazzle of the real thing.

I've never considered them as a seperate story I enjoy all 4 episodes.

Just got an Amy and Drone - new packaging is interesting - been decades since I've opened carded figures with actual card backs. The Star Wars/Transformers/Dapol days
