New DS9 Documentary

$500,000 stretch goal:

"Remaster select show clips in High-Definition and work with Doug Drexler to render orignal CGI models in High-Definition"

It ain't in Cardassian anymore!

$451K+, with exactly 7 days to go. That means they need 7K a day, something they've more than managed since the announcement about the HD clips.

I think it's also largely due to the Garak t-shirts. They've sold 211 of those since yesterday, compared to 198 Quark shirts in 8 days.

New video with the promise of more:

I love Ira's pitch. It needs to happen. And Nana and Terry are absolutely right.

At first I thought it was cool they were doing this .. but I am getting more and more excited about it. Looks like good participation from a decent chunk of the cast (in these promos and the perks) and the writers room feature is really neat. I hope they put a bunch of the unedited stuff on the website to watch later.

Over 6,900 contributions with $500k within reach in less than a month is nothing to sneeze at...with 6 days left! I'm floored. I really hope they're able to get their hands on some of the original footage. You know the outpouring of support must certainly be motivating Ira and others to go the extra mile to make big things happen!

Okay, I'm in for a Garrick T-shirt in addition to what I already contributed.

Contributed. They are within sight of some rescanned HD and re-render CG elements I reckon. Hopefully a successful documentary will make CBS sit up and take notice.

I haven't been on these boards for a while, just stopped by to make sure the documentary was being discussed here.

Not surprised that it is, of course. Over $480k now, so it's looking good for the final stretch goal!

Only $11,000 to go for the final stretch goal.
