New DS9 Documentary

I'd love to donate to this at the perk level that gives you access to their online library and an early stream... but I don't like that "Name On Website" part of the perk. (I was trying to write a whole thing explaining why, but it's too convoluted, but suffice to say I have reasons to try to restrict where my real name is publicly listed online) I know you can choose to be anonymous on the Indiegogo donation page, but will that also keep you anonymous on their production website? Can I get around it by just listing a different name for myself under the "Full Name" field at the top, even though obviously I'll have to have my real name on the credit card info? Does anyone get how that works?

They reached their goal. That's impressive. The interest for DS9 is alive and well.

Yet another site that can't be bothered using actual CBS imagery, instead they just Google it and use whatever they find. (The cap is actually from a shot made by The Light Works.)
And Ds9 tends to hover around the top three quite often. Nineties Trek was our golden era over here.

I'm astonished at how quickly the goal was reached. It seems every time i refresh my screen the total keeps going up and up.
I donated at the level to get the shirt. I know the site estimates February 2018 for that list of perks, but I wonder if they'll send the shirts early, since I've already seen Nana Visitor and Ira Steven Behr wearing them in videos. I'd love to have it in time for Earth Day.
Apparently his involvement is limited to prior interviews. I read in an article on this Indiegogo campaign (I'll have to find it) that he wants the work to speak for itself. My understanding is that Brooks is a bit of a recluse.
This may sound cheesy, but seeing this documentary hit its crowdfunding goal in one day, and now at 115% of its goal, is really inspiring. It's so cool how much Trekkies care about this stuff and support it wholeheartedly. We can sometimes be confrontational, divisive, whatever, but this kind of thing is why I love this fandom.
I suspect that his heart is really in theatre and teaching. Although I'm sure he's proud of his work in TV and film, it seems primarily to be a means of filling up the bank account.
