Which I'm sure are not considered canonical either, are they?
Kind of a weird discussion anyway. How does canon all of a sudden factor into any of that? They have merely announced a fun little thing they did for a documentary, nothing more. It's just about providing (A) a glimpse into how the show was written, (B) how they think about the show and its characters now and (C) how a hypothetical 8th seasons might have looked. Just a fun little exercise, nothing more and nothing less. And certainly not anything that has anything to do with “canon”.
