The link above contains some peaks at many of the new refit designs coming to STO, including a 2409 era constitution refit, and a matching Defiant and Intrepid class.

I'm not sure how Vektor would look at it, but I'd see it as some fanservice from one of his fans in the STO design team. Captain Neckbe- I mean... Captain Logan favored Vektor to win, so he slipped in a little Vektor flavor as a sly wink to his favorite contest designer.

I'd probably have done the same, were I in a similar position, as Vektor was a favorite of mine as well.

Aside from the Constitution class and the BoPs, I like the new designs. Especially that Defiant one - it takes the ship to a whole new level of cool.

New Connie - Meh, not bad per say but missing something that I can't put my finger on.

New Defiant - I like it. Makes the ship look more advanced and more agressive

New Klingon Ships - With the exception of Eaves ships, nothing that I really like.
