Spoilers New "blue skies" trailer!

Nice trailer. I don't like the shots of the Enterprise, it looks like too much soft focus or blur or something, like cheap CGI from Galactica: Blood and Chrome or a video game. Hopefully the story will be okay.

It's supposedly an image from a dream that Picard has, so things should look a bit blurred from our perspective.
:techman:

Getting back to the trailer: after studying the very first scene with a ship in a nebula, I don't think that's the Enterprise. Any guesses?

Considering that there's already a confirmed dream sequence, part of which takes place in Ten-Forward, I can say with 99.75 percent confidence that this IS the Enterprise.

Yes, I'm completely aware of the dream sequence and the appearance of the Enterprise. But the ship in the nebula, from afar, does not look like it. Wrong colours glowing in the wrong locations. I'm suggesting that this is a different scene with a different ship.

The Trekyards guys, of all people, confused the secondary deflector with windows... XD
I have a bad feeling the creators of the shot thought so too and will use that as 10 forward...
Can those who've seen it confirm if they show the location of 10 forward, like by moving in through the windows?

The secondary deflector's shape doesn't match the shape of the windows in the Ten Forward dream sequence. I don't think they're the same (though I haven't seen the complete scene, so I'm just guessing).

Last night they showed this Picard preview while I was watching NCIS last night and several shortened Picard previews we've seen posted on youtube the last few weeks.

They zoom very close to the saucer and what are presumably the windows to Ten Forward before cutting inside.

To me, it didn't look like the windows were correct. But everyone else will get a chance to see for themselves soon enough!

Do you mean the nebula shot with the tiny starship in the distance?

Yes. The first couple shots of glowing stuff don't seem to match the Enterprise. But now that I've seen it, I still don't agree, but apparently it's supposed to be the 1701-D (and clearly is in the last long-distance shot).
