Watch for the footage of a rogue synth and the Enterprise!
Does one of you know who is singing that lovely cover version of "Blue Skies"?
I said this in the other thread, but the shot of the D as a tiny shape in the vast nebula is lovely. Did we ever see the ship in space at that kind of distance in the series?
NOW we are getting somewhere with showing us a proper ship. Hope this trend continues.
She is so purrty. Damned if she isn’t the best Enterprise with a suffix after it’s registry.
cgi Enterprise d looks so much better than the model version for some reason.
Are we sure it’s the E-D (in a flashback, no doubt) or another Galaxy? The Galaxy herself, maybe?
Spoiler: Spoiler from premiere thread
We know it's the Enterprise as part of a dream sequence
People have noticed that the ship is a bit different to that of the Enterprise D with a different colour scheme and shorter neck so it’s possible it’s a different ship.
At least it doesn't have potato peeler pylons
Goosebumps circling all around my body!
The tune sounds way off, though, like minor instead of major
I think it's Isa Briones.
In Picard's dreams,
Data is also giving clues about Dahj's origins in form of a game card, painting, etc, which indicates that he has a close connection with Dahj.
If so, then the theory that
Data is reborn/his memory is now implanted inside Dahj's body is confirmed
Careful where you point that thing. Someone is going to get hurt.
It's the Enterprise-D allright, reimagined w/21st century CGI
Welcome back, old friend .
Here's the trailer featuring the Enterprise-D for non-US viewers:
They’ve been showing proper ships all along
You know very well what I mean. Proper appropriate era ships.
The galaxy is very shiny
Looks absolutely beautiful!
No doubt just part of a flash-back/dream sequence.
Those still delusional they'll focus on this ship, are the same fans who still think the show is going to be about Riker, Deanna and just about bringing the old crew back.
You can't help these fans, they are stuck in one gear.
Although to be fair, they've kind of sold and promoted this show heavy on the nostalgia factor, and focused next to nothing in promoting the new crew.
So when the show does turn to actually focus on these new characters, they've been set up to be automatically resented for it.
This new cast is going to have a next to impossible task of being accepted, as they'll just be seen as in the way of the old cast. .
Why would a flashback/dream sequence have him imagining the outside of the ship?
Separate names with a comma.
