Seriously though, I will be 35 in less than a week and I don't feel a day over 16. I am still just the same kooky toy-loving spontaneous nut-job I was then... except I have a real job and responsible.

Good heavens, you're 35? You look younger - I would have pegged you at 28-ish.

Here's Eddie in his new bed, a belated Christmas present from his grandma. He has adopted that Beanie Baby moose!

He's starting to enjoy being a housecat, and getting used to being my only cat, though he still misses Kira. :(

I love the bed and the moose - can I have one please? :)

That is really cool. How long before someone names the episode? ;)

It's Asignment Earth. One of my favorites.

Back in the 80's my TV/VCR setup was remarkably similar to that picture. In fact, it still is. The entertainment center is still the same (slightly aged), and the TV and VCR's (now DVD/VCR combo's) has been updated, but the setup is still the same as it was twenty years ago.

Noticed this building when in Toronto at the end of November and wondered what it was. Struck me as something you'd find at university but now in hindsight and the clock town - it wouldn't the old town hall?

To be honest, I'm not sure. The current city hall is close by, a pair of curved towers, and there is a big memorial in front of this building dedicated to war veterans. Maybe someone who grew up here would know better.

lol, thanks, JonathanWally. Valid point; we are a bit younger than most of the forum. But not quite Jr. Highers ;)

Yeah...it seems that most other members around here are at least college age. Alas...I'll be out of high school soon enough.

There are quite a few who started here in High School. We've just been here too long.

I started half-way through my senior year in high school, so i know what you mean.

I didn't say I was bald, but my hairline is definitely receding.
Until a few years ago, I had very thick, wavy hair. Now it's thinning and receding.

But thanks, I'll keep the Picard paradox in mind. ;)

Yeah, I don't know if it's abnormal but I find bald men quite attractive much of the time. The transition must be a bit difficult in a personal way, but I think as long as someone is well-groomed, hair doesn't matter that much.

Baldness isn't a turn-off.

Comb-overs, implants, hairpieces, home dye jobs, excessive use of "product" - THOSE are turn-offs. ;) It's rare that I even like a good dye job on a guy. Don't know why - just doesn't appeal to me. I like veracity in a man's hairstyle choices. :D

^ Comb-overs are scary! Ans dye jobs are one of those things that don't always work on a man... unless you find a fantastic colorist... which I have. No ones knows that I am going grey. We keep it subtle and with a light peppering of highlights to blend everything together. But it takes two hours and $60 every four weeks to make that happen. However, if I was going grey all over instead of the two twin strips running across my the top of my head and the big spot in the back, I would leave it. :rommie: I doubt I could find a husband looking like bloody Pepe Lepu.

So what's your stance on goatees? :shifty: To wit:
