New American Pie Plot Revealed

Oh no. Don't tell me we're going to have an argument over which "American Pie" movies are canon or not.
It's a Star Trek board, of course we're going to argue about canon. :p
but aside from Band Camp, have the other d2DVD sequels had any impact of all, on the lives of the charaxcters from the trilogy? any impact that cant just be dismissed with the wave of a hand and "oh yeah that was the plan, but instead we ..."

I don't mind being spoiled; not seeing any of the DTV sequels, I am curious how Band Camp at all affects the characters at all. Unless you're saying it does because that's the one that features Stifler's brother right?

Stifler's brother played by a different actor, IIRC.

I think one of the films has Sherman as a guidance counselor; obviously, high schools are either hard up for staff these days, or else have drastically lowered their standards. :p

I still haven't seen any of those direct-to-DVD films. They all looked horrifying, and I've been known to watch just about anything Eugene Levy appears in. He's one of my favorite comedic actors.

the Sermanatior is in the Band Camp film but the rest only have Eugene Levy in them, so whilst ive not seen them I really cant see them being a problem for the film series.

The DTV movies were terrible. The only "good" thing in them may have been Eugene Levy and a nice dose of pretty flesh but otherwise they were complete crap.
Did you watch the "Unrated Love Lessons With Ginger Lynn" segment in the bonus features of Band Camp? That was freakin' hilarious. In fact, that segment was funnier than the whole actual movie.

^ They're all pretty horrifying. I've seen bits and pieces of each one when they've been on television.

I've seen a couple of trailers for movies I actually intended to watch. Just seeing those made me feel like I was setting the art of filmmaking back a couple thousand steps.

Well, wallpaper wouldn't really change, anyway, would it?

As for the rest...yeah, that is a little weird.

Eh, if the parents had no other use for the room there's no reason why they'd do anything with it and would keep it the same for their only son.

Well we know from the previous films that Jim's Dad is pretty eccentric (if that is the right word to describe him) and the two of them care a great deal about Jim. I suspect that it's kind of a homage to old television films and movies that would show the room of the oldest son still the same as when they left it. Not to mention examples in real life. Maybe I'm stretching, but I don't find it particularly weird or creepy given what we know about this family.

In real life, my dad and his last wife moved into my old bedroom after I moved out, because she realized that it was the biggest of the three bedrooms in the house, which is something my dad never noticed. I can see them leavin' the wallpaper alone, and maybe even the bed bein' the same...but the basketball hoop & poster? That's a stretch...
