New Alex Kurtzman interview, big cameos teased

Given the current raft of acting talent on hand thanks to his "Dark Universe" franchise, if Tom Cruise doesn't walk onto the bridge of a USS Whatever, painted purple with gills and breathing apparatus, I'm boycotting this show!

Hugo - or Russell Crowe covered in fur, I'm easy

Nice, they're presently shooting episode 5 of 15.
That's downright shocking. They should have been closer to 10 or 11 at this point.

But it does give some weight to the idea that all the footage in the trailer is from the first episode. That part is somewhat encouraging in that there could be a lot more stuff to see, including the actual Discovery bridge.

We were told by Ted Sullivan they were on episode 6. So I'm wondering when this interview took place.

If they are just on 6......we may be looking at Christmas. But I am sure it will be worth it. But damn I wants it nowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I think in the Berman era it wasn't really a cachet show to be on, now it is and it's attracted some current big name stars.

In fact, having Whoopi reprising her role as Guinan wouldn't be that far-fetched.

As stated, I think it's actually good they're only on episode 5 or 6. Let them take their time and develop a good show.
