    So, I noted this earlier...
    And, today, something has appeared:

    Discovery #1, by David Mack.

Street date - 23 May 2017. Price ($16) and format suggest we may be getting a trade paperback?

    Just pre-ordered it on Amazon.de, eBook, €12.43.

Any plans for an ENT book coming up?
New Frontier is on hiatus again, right?

What era does Headlong Flight take place in?

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched! Does the E-E look a bit off to anyone else? Must be the angle, but the saucer length looks a bit short.

Hey mods, can the news of the cover reveal for Headlong Flight be moved to its own thread?

Makes sense. IIRC, trade paperbacks have a shorter turnaround time than MMPBs, so they tend to show up when there's less advance time available (the last several movie and episode novelizations, for instance).

Looks like the shot was done with a (virtual) zoom lens, so the perspective is flattened out. We usually see the ships shot with a wider lens and a closer distance, to make them look since and big with lots of perspective.

I assume there's a reason why the Enterprise-D appears on the cover of Headlong Flight?

I imagine it's a similar reason why a 23rd century Romulan BoP is also on the cover.

It was just sitting in the corner, all pouty, so we threw it a bone.

So, I'm going to be honest.... Not so psyched about Una's new DS9 novel as I thought I could be. I loved her earlier novels, and The Neverending Sacrifice is still one of the best novels I know in TrekLit. But her latest novel, I actually forgot the titel, was very underwhelming for me. I'm just not a fan of Pulaski, so knowing Una's writing about her again..... Then again, there will be Garak, so I can hope.
