Yeah... the puffiness in his face from his undisciplined diet (maybe diabetes as well?) makes his 'Deadly Years' face look better! Also, he has a double-chin in this one... something that wasn't bothered with back in the TOS episode.

Shatner has diabetes? I'd never heard that before...

Speaking of aging and alternate characters...

Love the guys in black - great stuff, shaw. I've always thought Kirk would look hot in black, but unfortunately he never wore black on TOS, unlike Spock and McCoy who looked raaaaaaaaather good in black, too.

And I think Shatner has aged very well; he looked rather cool on BL. Would love to see some of you detractors at the age of 78...:p

I didn't say he has it, only wondering if he might. There are many "shades" of diabetes. Many elderly folks these days get a mild form of it (controllable with medicines), and one telltale sign is weight gain.

The givaway on the lower image is the bounce light off the shirt, which shows under Scotty's chin and on the tech's arm. which is red. :D I know there's some off the console, too, but that ain't all of it!

Oh, okay. I just thought it was one of those things I'd managed to miss somehow. ;) My mother, step-mother and my wife were/are all diabetics (I'm surrounded!), and it's always been something I've been interested in because of that.

The expressions are so perfectly appropriate. Well done, Gary7. :)

Thanks. :) It was the EMH that got me going on it. Once I put his head on McCoy's body, I just had to do the other two. Tuvok was easy (common expression, no hands to worry about). Chakotay took a while... so many good pics but hard to find one to fit in this scene. I wanted to use Janeway, but--no luck on a suitable female body for the captain's chair. ;)

I don't know if you have been following the "Photoshop Thread, Part III" up in the General Trek Forum, but I found this picture up there that Shaw did of TNG Shelby in TOS uniform in the Captain's Chair. You may want to use it for your TOS version of Captain Janeway.

^^ Thanks for the link. Funny, I never thought to check in that sub forum. The Photoshop thread is a gold mine of techniques and curiosity. :)
