Come, you actually mentioned in an earlier post that the military uses motorcycles. No need to invent an USO stunt show to rationalize their existence.

Those torpedoes blew a hole right through the middle of the USS Vengeance engineering hull. No wonder she crashed.
This force field armhole thing kinda looks like it has the Nike swoosh on it.

(Also, is that a schoolbus or a streetcar? It sits next to what looks like a sidewalk, but could also be a pair of rails. And there's something on the roof that might be a pantograph, which the old orange cabs would have even if the cable cars are perhaps more familiar to the audience.)

Never liked Kirks hair in season 3. Season 1 n 2 looked good, but I have shorter hair so.......
Except parted on wrong side in STID
His hair in beyond was too long imo. Needed a trim on sides n Shatner parted his more towards middle of head due to oncoming baldness lol
I'm sure there still is a USO, or a descendant of same, in Trek's time. Indeed, Starfleet personnel are spread so far and wide across the quadrant that it would be a necessity. You have to provide for those people who are so far from home.
I'm not saying there isn't a USO, just that the motorcycle isn't some leftover from a USO stunt show.
BTW, the only mention of it is in DS9, where Vic Fontaine (by virtue of his 60s provenance) offered to put on some USO shows for the fighters on AR-558.

Nah, they evolved past that need. That's what the holodeck/rec room is for.
Unless you wanted to hear and see a flesh and blood celebrity perform in person.
And what happens if you're stationed somewhere that has no holodeck?

Or, even stage plays and musical performances put on by the crew, or bowling.
