Never-before-aired 'Star Trek' pilot to be released

TOS season 3 IS available in both Remasterd & original versions.

If you mean why aren't they rereleasing it AGAIN with the new extra features.........

Folks who already have it in either of those two previous versions would be very unlikely to repurchase it again for a few extra bonus features.

And logically every time they rerelease the seasons they will add more extras. This is the first Blu-ray release and they naturally want incentive to increase sales.

But re-releasing it in standard DVD for the third time with a few extra features wouldn't likely be profitable.

Seems to me it wouldn't be such a bad thing to include it in the next "Best of TOS" disc they put out...
