Netflix 'dub' rather than subtitle setting??

I haven't watched Discovery yet so no spoilers please. I plan to watch it tonight with my wife, my wife's vision isn't great and I hear it's heavily subtitled.

Is there an accessibility setting where you get a 'dub' when subtitles are on?

Yes I can read them for her but it knocks her confidence when I have to do it, it also takes you 'out of it' when you're reading them aloud.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Not really understanding the question, I'm afraid. Netflix has the show available in its original English audio version and with German, French, Russian and Turkish dubs. The subtitles are available in English, German, French, Russian and Klingon (seriously).

Thanks, I have heard (perhaps incorrectly) that all the Klingon scenes are subtitled since they're speaking Klingon (this was rarely the case in previous series). So when I say a 'dub' I mean more as an accessibility feature for people who can't read them for whatever reason. So basically so is reading out the subtitles.

If it's just a little that's not such a big deal but if it's 5 mins + in total it's going to wreck it for us.

Ah, okay, I think I understand your question now. If you watch the episode without setting subtitles, the scenes where the Klingons speak Klingon will automatically be subtitled, yes. It's nothing too wild, you will get through it without any problem, I think.

There are also few vital plot points in the Klingon dialogue that couldn't be equally well understood by watching what is happening on screen.

I thought most of the Klingon dialog was awkward and not presented well. As an anime fan and member of the sub master race, I found the Klingon bits a chore and really had to work and not drifting off.
